About Us

EcoTec LLC was originally founded in 1998 by William H. Povall III, PE and William Schwiebert as water supply system installation, operation and maintenance company. Povall Engineering, PLLC, owned by Bill Povall, designs a variety of potable and non-potable water supply systems for numerous clients. Fishkill Pump Service, Inc. owned by Bill Schwiebert, is on the cutting edge of water system construction and installation throughout the NY region. The company additionally provided water sampling and testing services to satisfy NYS Health Department and NYS Department of Environmental Conservation regulations and standards. Both Bill Povall and Bill Schwiebert possess the required NYSDEC Class C water system operators licensing.

In January of 2017, Joseph C. Jordan, former principal with EnviroClean Services, LLC (NY), joined the partnership and the company has since expanded its core business model to include a variety of additional environmental services incorporating the various disciplines and experience of all of the company’s principals and staff. The primary and foremost focus of the company is to provide a Client advocacy position on all projects and services the company provides. Numerous consultants may provide knowledge based services for a fee, however EcoTec prides itself on distilling out what is truly in the client’s best interest with an emphasis on the economic and practical impact of the project.

 

The nexus between Povall Engineering, PLLC, Fishkill Pump Services, Inc. and EcoTec, LLC provides a unique Client focused services capability with over 50 years of cumulative experience in a wide array of environmental, technical, Engineering and construction services.
